What really is Soul Travel? At times when I am singing HU, pictures manifest in my inner vision—like maybe I’ll be on the back of an eagle and someone takes a picture of it. Or maybe it’s like I am barely in a setting, like in a temple or something, and I see a progression of images flashing through my mind. If you begin with the images, trying to go somewhere, is it still a spiritual experience, or does an experience have to come to you? If you imagine a meeting with an ECK Master, how is it not just your imagination?

Dear Doubtful,

If in doubt, you haven’t Soul Traveled.

Mark Twain, the American humorist, might have described Soul Travel and imaginings of it as the difference between lightning and the lightning bug.

Broadly, Soul Travel is the expansion of consciousness. That’s it.

It comes in two flavors: a dynamic, vibrant shift that takes one outside the human body, or the gradual unfolding of a plant’s bud into a splendid flower of sublime wonder.

Which will it be for you?

It depends upon your spiritual needs. The Master will help you along whichever route is better for you.

By all means, continue your ECK Spiritual Exercises. Be like a spiritual athlete who keeps in training, to build stamina for the Olympics.

Your imaginings are a very good beginning.
